Update after 3 years OMG?!
- As many of you have been wondering, yes, the club is pretty much dead. The current note count is 470. This is after I deleted a few notes from banned deviants... there are still some duplicate notes, though. And also some affiliate notes thrown in there from what I saw. I hid most of the comments on the front page because it was just a huge argument/flame/troll/whatever.

I think a few years ago I did try and see if there was anyone else who wanted to help moderate the community. I don't think I'll be looking for someone this time. I don't think I could give up the club, even though I never update anymore. At one point, I really did love this club! Now I'm far too busy with college and life to worry about going through those 470 notes, replying to them all, and adding everyone to the members/watch list. Maybe some day I will trudge through them and update the members list. If I did, we would probably have 700+ members! (Yay!)

I had some hope that in the time after the club was formed, DA would implement a club system that would make it easier for me to interact with the massive amount of members that are in this club. There was rumor of one sometime around 2004/2005, but a such a system never surfaced. It's a little disappointing that it is 2009 now and a club system still hasn't come to fruit! DA step on it already! I know it's possible because other sites similar to DA have such systems and they make updating/submitting art/etc. so much easier. You can bet if a club system ever appears, I will fix up the club for sure.

On a side note, I haven't heard from fellow founder ~Poonyo in years. She disappeared, as far as I know. Though, I do remember she stopped moderating the community long before she stopped coming online and went missing. I miss her!
